Skin Esthetics

Course Description:

The primary purpose of the course is to train students in both theory and practical experiences which will prepare them for immediate employment opportunities. The course is particularly directed towards developing desirable habits and attitudes with the respect to health, sanitation and safety which encourages self-reliance, readiness to assist others and an ethical approach to this profession.

Course Goals:

1. To educate students in both theory and practical experience, providing information in all phases of skin esthetics.
2. To prepare students to successfully pass state board examinations
3. To prepare students to work in a licensed salon as a skin esthetician.
4. To develop communication and practical skills.
