Barber School Northfield

Before you can pick up a pair of shears and begin work as a barber, you must earn your professional license at a barbershop school in New Jersey. Here, students are given an education in the fundamentals of the barbering profession, including haircutting, beard design, hair shaping, facial care and women’s haircuts. After completing their barber school studies, students are eligible to sit for an exam given by the New Jersey State Board of Cosmetology and Hairstyling – the agency that oversees the barbering profession in the state.
